Mrs. Lynnetta M. Seabury is a dynamic educator known for her energetic presence in the classroom.  Her love for teaching was nurtured from a young age, and she often played school with her family members. With over 20 years of experience in private school education, Mrs. Seabury has truly made an impact in every role she has taken on.

In 2020, Mrs. Seabury, along with another educator, founded BridgeWay Preparatory Christian School in Chesapeake, Virginia. Through a leap of faith, the school later relocated to Moyock, North Carolina, becoming the first and only Christian private school in Currituck County.

Mrs. Seabury's background working and teaching in private schools includes several years at the Wee Center, a private institution in Pensacola, Florida, and years teaching at The Children's Primary School in San Diego, California. True to herself as she always is, her propensity to lean toward involvement in the life of young people led her to spend several years as a guidance counselor at the University of Phoenix in San Diego, CA. Mrs. Seabury has worked as a CAO (Chief Administration Officer) for St. Michael's by the Sea in Carlsbad, California. Her mission in life is to create environments where individuals discover and successfully walk in their destiny. While relocating to Virginia, Mrs. Seabury worked at Hickory Ridge Academy as the Science Department Head and History teacher. Education and Management have always been a part of her makeup.

Mrs. Seabury holds a baccalaureate degree in Business Management and a master's degree in management, giving her an advantage in managing the classroom setting without skipping a beat. Mrs. Seabury is a professor at Centura College and teaches business courses. Mrs. Seabury was also inducted into the 2022 Marquis Who's Who in America. God is first in Mrs. Seabury's life. She is married to a wonderful, patient man, Jeffrey (affectionately known as Pastor Jeff), with two handsome sons, David and Jonathan.
